Department of Zoology

The department of zoology was established in the year of 2006 as general UG course. Prof. Sangeeta Sarkar has been serving this department since its inception. The total number of students who have opted for zoology as combination subject are 60 nos. in the current academic session. The central library have 200 zoology books for both lending and reading purpose and there is also a seminar library having 20 books for reading purpose only. The department has a well equipt laboratory with LPG connection having an accommodation of around 32 students forpractical classes.
